Boy, 17, Killed In Single-Vehicle Crash; 2 Others Injured: Police

BARRINGTON HILLS, IL — One person was killed and two others have been hospitalized after a single-vehicle crash early Saturday in Barrington Hills, police said.

Officers responded at about 2:20 a.m. near Brinker and Hills & Dales roads, where they found a boy who had been ejected from a Mercedes SUV and pronounced him dead at the scene, WGN is reporting. The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the person killed as Colin Newman, 17, according to the report.
