Child Abduction Report Sparks Police Response At Algonquin Target
Witnesses called 911 after hearing a juvenile yell that the man with her was not her father but police later determined he was.
ALGONQUIN, IL — Algonquin police responded to a Target parking lot after multiple witnesses called 911 to report a possible child abduction involving a juvenile who was heard yelling that the man she was with was not her father.
Officers quickly located the vehicle and investigated the situation. Police determined the man was, in fact, the child's father, according to police.
The child and her father were safe, police said, and no crime occurred.
