Child Porn Charges Filed Against Huntley Man

HUNTLEY, IL — A 29-year-old Huntley man faces possession of child pornography charges following an investigation by local police.
Allen Q. Nguyễn was taken into custody Tuesday after the Huntley Police Department identified him as an Internet subscriber who'd been accessing child pornography, according to a news release. Local police learned he'd possibly been in possession of the child pornography after receiving information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, according to a news release fro the Huntley Police Department.
Authorities launched an investigation in June and served a search warrant at a home in the 10400 block of Auburn Court in Huntley on Tuesday. Nguyen was renting a room at the home, and was taken into custody based on evidence obtained during the search, police said.

He's been charged with child pornography - reproduce or distribute of video; child pornography -reproduce or distribute; child pornography - possession visual reproduction on computer/video - victim under 13; and child pornography - possession visual reproduction on computer/video, according to a news release.
Authorities are still investigating the case and requesting that anyone with information regarding it contact the Huntley Police Department at 847-515-5311.
