Chocolatiers For A Day at Morkes

At its annual Chocolate Walk-In Day, families could mold chocolate suckers and dip and decorate pretzels.

Yesterday families from around the area kicked off their Super Bowl Sunday at Morkes annual Walk In Chocolate Day.

For $7 a person, families could mold chocolate suckers and dip and decorate pretzels as well. Men accompanying kids were free of charge.

"We do this event every year on Superbowl day," said Claudia Kendzior, store manager. "We do this for the dads so they remember us on Valentine's Day."

The chocolate shop's strategy must be effective because Patrick Wong of Carpentersville said, "Definitely, I'll come back for Valentine's Day."
