Fast Facts: Jacobs has spent the season trying to get healthy on the fly, and the Golden Eagles appear to be close to the team they were expecting to be at the start of the season. Krutwig, a 6-foot-8 sophomore, broke his foot in the fall and wasn’t cleared until Jacobs’ season opener, so he’s been working his way into shape. He’s averaging 9.2 points, 8.9 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game. Mack, a Northern Michigan recruit, missed seven games after surgery for a torn meniscus. He’s averaging 9.4 points and 1.7 steals per game. Orange leads the Golden Eagles with 15.6 points per game. Mason Materna, a 6-foot-4 sophomore, just returned to the team last week after recovering from a broken wrist. Crystal Lake South is coming off its best win of the season, edging a solid Larkin club Tuesday. Prior to that win, the Gators had dropped two straight heartbreakers in the final minute. Geske leads the Gators with 14 points per game. Bartusch averages 12 points and seven rebounds, while Baker, the team’s point guard, has put up 10 points, six rebounds and five assists per game.
