District 300 Schools Delayed Two Hours Friday

The weather forecast calls for snow to continue through the early morning.  The weather is supposed to improve by mid-morning.  To help ensure the safe delivery of children to school in the morning, students will have a delayed start tomorrow, Friday, Feb. 24, by two hours.

A delayed start for students means that bus pick-ups will occur two hours later than normal, and schools will start class two hours later than normal.  Classes will end at their normal time.

Because of the transportation requirements of a delayed start, all half-day programs are cancelled for kindergarten and preschool.  Full-day kindergarten will still take place with a 2-hour delayed start.
