District 300, Teacher's Union Reach Tentative Agreement
Details surrounding the agreement would not be released until approved the District 300's Board of Education, according to a join press release.

After weeks of negotiations, District 300's school board and the Local Education Association of District 300, IEA/NEA have reached a tentative agreement "resolving economic and language issues."

School District 300 and the Local Education Association of District 300, IEA/NEA, reached a tentative agreement resolving economic and language issues.

The tentative agreement is a positive and collaborative accomplishment achieved through more than eight weeks of negotiations.
The LEAD union will bring the tentative agreement to its membership today (Friday, May 27, 2011). A vote to ratify the agreement is planned for Tuesday, May 31, 2011.
