Dog Saved From House Fire In Huntley

The blaze broke out at a home in Huntley Wednesday evening.

HUNTLEY, IL — Fire crews rescued a dog from underneath a bed after a blaze broke out at a home in Huntley on Wednesday evening, according to the Northwest Herald. The fire started about 6 p.m. on Wednesday in a clothes dryer on the second floor of the single-family home at 10538 Fleetwood Street in Huntley, leaving the residence uninhabitable.

Two adults and three children were inside the home at the time of the blaze and were able to safely get out and were not injured, according to the Northwest Herald. The dog was given oxygen and taken to a veterinarian.
