Dundee Crown High School Senior Ethan Loh to become Taekwondo Master

17 year-old Loh to test for 4th degree Master black belt at "Kick for the Cure" this Sunday April 17 at Dundee Crown. Doors open at 9am.

Dundee Crown High School Senior, Ethan Loh, will test for his 4th Degree Taekwondo Black Belt at the Tiger Koo's Martial Arts "Kick for the Cure" Fundraiser this Sunday, April 17 at Dundee Crown High School. As he completes this very prestigious accomplishment, he will earn the title of Martial Arts Master. When I asked Ethan about what this achievement meant to him, he commented that it's more about his development as a leader than his physical capabilities (which are remarkable, by the way!) Ethan has been studying various forms of martial arts for the past 15 years.

Throughout his time as a student at Dundee-Crown, Ethan has been the head instructor at Tiger Koo's in Algonquin, while maintaining a minimum 3.5 GPA throughout his high school career. Ethan is the captain of the award-winning Tiger Koo's demo team, and is the consummate martial arts student, fully living out the 5 tenets of Taekwondo in his daily life: courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self control, and indomitable spirit. Ethan is the well-respected, highly esteemed instructor of 250+ martial arts students.

Instructor Ethan is a remarkable teacher, talented athlete, and outstanding student. Under the tutelage of both Grand Master Jong Sub Koo and Master Min Jeong Yi, Ethan possesses the leadership, responsibility and character required to become a Taekwondo Master. Instructor Ethan Loh is an exemplary martial artist and his 4th Degree Master Black Belt Test will be an inspiring display of his talent and athleticism to benefit terminally ill children.
