Dundee-Crown, Jacobs Advance in Huntley Sectional
Dundee-Crown will take on Prairie Ridge Wednesday.

Dundee-Crown and Jacobs baseball teams could square off against each other this Saturday in the sectional championship if both teams win semifinal games in the coming days, according to the Illinois High School Association website.
Dundee-Crown will take on Crystal Lake's Prairie Ridge at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in the sectional semifinal at Huntley High School, according to the IHSA.
McHenryCountySports.com reports Dundee-Crown is the most surprising team still left of the four remaining FVC Conference teams. Dundee-Crown beat top-seeded Huntley on Saturday to claim the Class 4A DeKalb Regional baseball tournament championship, according to McHenryCountySports.com.

On Thursday, Jacobs High School's baseball team will square off against Hononegah High School in Rockton at 4:30 p.m. in Huntley. The winner of that game — as well as the winner of today's Prairie Ridge-Dundee-Crown match-up — will advance to the sectional final championship game at 10 a.m. on Saturday in Huntley.
