A hometown rivalry will take to the baseball field this weekend as Dundee-Crown and Jacobs face off in the sectional final, according to McHenryCountySports.com.
Jacobs advanced to the game after beating Hononegah 3-2 Thursday in the Class 4A Huntley Sectional semifinal, according to McHenryCountySports.com. Dundee-Crown defeated Prairie Ridge Wednesday to make it to the championship game.
Dundee-Crown and Jacobs will play at 10 a.m. Saturday at Huntley High School, according to the Illinois High School Association website. The winner of the game will move on to the super-sectional game Monday in Loves Park.
