Early Voting Expands For February 23 Primary In McHenry County
Republican primary races are being held for Algonquin Township, Grafton Township, and Nunda Township offices.

WOODSTOCK, Ill. – In-person early voting for the Feb. 23 consolidated primary has expanded to five locations, McHenry County Clerk Joe Tirio announced.

Republican primary races are being held for Algonquin Township, Grafton Township, and Nunda Township offices. Only Republican ballots are available for this primary election – this is not early voting for the April 6 consolidated election.
Early voting for the primary is available through Monday, Feb. 22, at:

- McHenry County Administration Building, 667 Ware Road, Woodstock;
- McHenry City Hall, 333 S. Green St., McHenry;
- Nunda Township Offices, 3510 Bay Road, Crystal Lake; and
- Lake in the Hills Village Hall, 600 Harvest Gate, Lake in the Hills.
Voting hours for these four locations are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through Friday, Feb. 12, and then 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. between Monday, Feb. 15 and Friday, Feb. 19. Hours will be from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 13 and Feb. 20, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, and then from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22.
A fifth early voting location at the Huntley Park District, 12015 Mill St., Huntley, will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through Friday, Feb. 12, and then again from Tuesday, Feb. 16 through Friday, Feb. 19. The final day to vote early at this location will be from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 20.
County voting stations are regularly sanitized, hand sanitizer is readily available for voters, and physical distancing measures are in place to protect voters and poll workers.
Voters can locate their precinct and review a sample ballot based on their location on the County Clerk website at www.mchenrycountyclerk.com.
