Following in the footsteps of a bar in Huntley, East Dundee is now also planning to host a turkey testicle festival this November, the Chicago Tribune reports.

The East Dundee Village Board on Monday heard a presentation on the festival, which the village plans to host from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 25 at The Depot in downtown Dundee, according to the article.

Besides offering turkey testicles to taste, the festival will have music, drinks and other food.

In first considering the festival, Village Administrator Bob Skurla said he considered what Huntley would think, the newspaper reports.

“The first question out of my mouth was I wanted to know if I was going to get an angry call from Huntley,” Skurla said.

But Huntley officials said their turkey testicle festival is privately sponsored, according to the Chicago Tribune.

For the past 30 years, Parkside Pub, 11721 E. Main St. in Huntley, has hosted its popular Turkey Testicle Festival. The Huntley event will also be held on Wednesday, Nov. 26, the day before Thanksgiving.
