Detectives found over 50 pills of suspected ecstasy that had an estimated street value of $5,000, according to the news release.
According to the DEA, the Netherlands is one of the primary sources for ecstasy being shipped to the US. Ecstasy is normally produced in clandestine labs with no oversight over what is used in the production process, authorities said. Investigators are becoming increasingly concerned that the deadly drug, fentanyl, is being found in some ecstasy pills.
