A few weeks ago, we held a Meat Raffle to raise funds to help Lori Komes with medical bills. Lori is a local bartender, mother and friend to many. She is without medical insurance and is also caring for her elderly father.
Lori's doctors performed surgery today and they were unable to remove the masses that surround her heart, as they were attached to an artery. Further testing revealed that Lori has a very aggressive form of Lymphoma. It has been suggested that radiation and chemotherapy are her only options.
We are asking that the community pull together one more time for Lori.

Our bartender Vicky Grogan (president of Fox Valley Children's Organization), has graciously offered to donate ALL of her tips this Saturday to Lori's Medical Fund. For your donation of $3.00, Riverview will provide an all-u-can-eat buffet of hot dogs, chili & chips during the college football games, which will also be donated to Lori's Medical Fund.
