Why not give some of the books your family once adored another chance to ignite a young person’s
love of reading? Westfield Community School PTO is collecting gently used books to distribute to classrooms throughout School District 300 that need them. Teachers who receive the books make them available for in-school silent reading or give them to students who have too few books to read at home. Please drop off children’s and young adult books in Westfield’s front offices, 2100 Sleepy Hollow Road, Algonquin, through March 1, 2012. Donations of educational aids such as flashcards also are welcome.
