The McHenry County Conservation District hosts a re-enactment of harvest time at the historic Powers-Walker House. Enjoy corn shelling, grinding corn into four, making a corn husk or yarn doll, and other harvest activities. Also learn about life in the 1850s and view a weapons demonstration from the Cavalry sergeant. This free event does not require registration.
