Nothing feels more like summer than a day at the beach! Indian Trail Beach (228 Indian Trail) officially opens for the summer season at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 2. Grab your swimsuit, towel, and sunscreen and spend the afternoon splashing in the waters of Woods Creek Lake. Daily admission is $2 for residents over 5 years old and $5 for non-residents over 5 years. Daily admission can be paid at Indian Trail Beach, or at the Police Department during off hours. Lake use tags can be purchased at Village Hall and are good for admission through April 30, 2013.
Come and celebrate the opening of the beach this summer with a pirate treasure hunt! It is rumored that many years ago a pirate ran aground at Indian Trail Beach and buried his treasure. We need your help digging through the sand to find it. The digging starts at 1:00 p.m. sharp! Participants get to keep their bounty!
