Ford School Dedication Ceremony Planned for October
The McHenry County Board recently designated Ford School in Lake in the Hills as a historical landmark.
MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — A dedication ceremony will be held in coming weeks at Ford School in Lake in the Hills. In July, rhe McHenry County Historic Preservation Commission recommended to designate Ford School as a local historic landmark, according to village officials.
On Sept. 17, the county board voted to approve the landmark designation. At 6 p.m. on Oct. 23, a dedication ceremony will be held at Ford School, 304 Ramble Road.
