Fox River Trail Closures In Algonquin Announced
There will be intermittent closures on July 28-29 due to the Longmeadow Bridge Construction project.

The Fox River Trail will have intermittent closures July 28-29, for the Longmeadow Bridge Construction project.

The closures will occur at the intersection of Angelina Place in Algonquin. This will be intermittently closed for existing path removal, grading and paving for the final trail connection. The trail will reopen on Thursday, July 30. At the end of this process, the detour around the Longmeadow Bridge construction will be removed and the new trail through the intersection will be complete. Signs are posted at the site.
The Forest Preserve District asks trail users to use caution and be mindful of the possibility of equipment on or around the trail.
