Get a Pint for a Pint
The Algonquin Area Public Library District will host a Blood Drive on Monday, July 25.
On Monday, July 25, the Algonquin Area Public Library District (AAPLD) will host a blood drive at the Harnish Main Library, 2600 Harnish Drive (west of Randall Road). Appointments are available from 3 to 7pm.
This blood drive is conducted in partnership with Heartland Blood Centers. Heartland is the sole provider to 65 hospitals in the Chicagoland area, including all area Veterans Affairs hospitals.
Schedule your appointment today at www.heartlandbc.org. Appointments are strongly advised, but walk-ins will be accommodated (photo ID required). As a blood donor, you can help sustain lives all over the country, and your donation has the potential to save up to three lives.

The process of donating blood is very simple and only takes about 45 minutes. As a bonus, donors receive a coupon for a FREE pint of ice cream from Baskin Robbins—a pint for a pint!

The Algonquin Area Public Library District has 23,049 cardholders and serves more than 40,000 residents in a 30-square-mile area including portions of Algonquin, Lake in the Hills, Cary, and Barrington Hills.
