Hot Temps Prompt LITH To Reopen Splash Pad

Great news for local families looking for an option to cool off - the splash pad at Sunset Park has reopened until "fall weather returns."

LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL -- Amid the return of hot, summer-life temps, the village of Lake in the Hills has decided to re-open its splash pad at Sunset Park. The splash pad will give area families a free option for getting the kiddos out and cooled off. Most area splash pads and pools closed after Labor Day.

Village officials in Lake in the Hills said unseasonably warms temps prompted them to reopen the splash pad at Sunset Park, 5200 Miller Road in Lake in the Hills. The splash pad will remain open until the "fall weather returns."

The hours of operation for the splash pad is 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
