The Jacobs varsity football team is headed to the playoffs.
Jacobs, a No. 6 seed, will play Conant High School, a No. 11 seed, in the first round of the 7A Illinois High School Association (IHSA) playoffs at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 1. The game will be at Jacobs.
Jacobs went 7-2 this season, according to the IHSA.
