The Kane County Fair runs from Wednesday, July 20, to Sunday, July 24.

The Kane County Fair returns Wednesday with cherished events like the Swifty Swine Racing Pigs along with the Odor Eaters Rotten Sneaker contest.

Carnival rides, food, exhibits and entertainment round out the four-day event at the Kane County Fairgrounds on Randall Road in St. Charles.

Opening day includes the Kane County Fair Speed Show, free with gate admission on the grand stage, and deals on carnival rides provided by Fantasy Amusement.

Entertainment this year includes Hillbilly Rockstarz, Hi Infidelity, 7th Heaven, Lonesome Stranglers, an ABBA Salute and American English, a Beatles tribute band.
