Kane County Wants Referendum to Negotiate Electricity Rates
Kane County officials said the difference in rates between ComEd and other electricity suppliers is narrowing, according to the Daily Herald.

A Kane County Board committee on Thursday recommended placing a referendum on the March ballot that would request permission from voters to negotiate rates with electricity suppliers other than ComEd, according to the Daily Herald.
In March 2012, the same question appeared on the ballot and lost by about 200 votes, according to the article.
