Cook Political Report: “Now that Duckworth is running for Senate, Krishnamoorthi is finally the favorite in next March’s Democratic primary that will essentially determine the next occupant of this rapidly diversifying seat in Chicago’s northwest suburbs. He has $596,000 and a huge head start over two other candidates, and his most serious opponent, state Sen. Tom Cullerton, abruptly dropped out over the summer.”
“For now, Krishnamoorthi is still the clear frontrunner. He’s consolidated tons of financial and party support, and his most valuable endorsement may be from 9th CD Rep. Jan Schakowsky, perhaps the most respected woman in area Democratic politics.” http://cookpolitical.com/story/8834
