Lake in the Hills Adds Bus Tour to Holiday Lights Contest

The village of Lake in the Hills is inviting the public along to help vote on the best holiday lights in the village this week.

The Holiday Lights Bus Tour will leave at 6 p.m. on Dec. 17 and those on board will travel past the nominees selected for the village’s annual holiday lights contest. They will also get to serve as judges in the contest.

Pre-registration is required by calling (847) 960-7460. You can also nominate your house, or your neighbor’s house, for the contest by calling (847) 960-7460. Categories for the contest include: Best Rookie Award (first time entries only), Best Overall Display, and the Clark Griswold Award

Winners will receive a gift certificate to a Lake in the Hills business.
