Lake in the Hills Approves Sales Tax Hike

The village board has approved a 25-cent sales tax increase.

The Lake in the Hills Village Board has approved 25-cent sales tax increase, which overall is expected to generate $4.1 million in revenue for the village in the coming fiscal year, the Daily Herald reports. But, the good news, is that the village board also approve a flat property tax levy for the fifth year in the row.
