Lake In The Hills Man Guilty Of Soliciting, Disseminating Child Porn
Anthony Jacquez entered a guilty plea to charges of solicitation of child pornography and dissemination of child pornography.

MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — A 35-year-old Lake in the Hills man has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for soliciting and disseminating child pornography.
Anthony Jacquez entered a guilty plea to charges of solicitation of child pornography and dissemination of child pornography during a hearing on Tuesday.
Jacquez was charged in 2023 after the Lake in the Hills Police Department received a cyber tip received from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. During their investigation, authorities learned messages sent from Jacquez’s Instagram social media account were used in the solicitation and dissemination of child pornography to a child under the age of eighteen, according to a news release.

Jacqueuz — who pretended to be a young girl — requested and sent both photographs and videos to and from a child he knew to be under eighteen. Further investigation of his social media accounts found communication between Jacquez and an unknown user on the social media application OnlyFans, where he solicited, purchased and disseminated videos and images of child pornography, according to a news release.
A forensic review of Jacquez’s cell phone data revealed he had in his possession over 150 videos and images of child pornography, authorities said.

During Tuesday's hearing, Jacquez was sentenced to six years in prison to each of the two felony charges he was convicted on and will serve his prison term consecutively, persecutors said.
Jaquez will also be placed on mandatory supervised release for three years to his natural life following his release from custody, according to the news release. Jacquez has also been ordered to register for life as a sex offender.
