Lake in the Hills Man Sentenced For Stabbing Relative
Anthony Bielecki, 20, has been sentenced to complete two years of probation.

LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — A 20-year-old Lake in the Hills man has pleaded guilty to stabbing a family member last year in their home in Lake in the Hills.
The Northwest Herald is reporting Anthony Bielecki entered a negotiated plea of guilty to aggravated domestic battery and was sentenced to three years in prison, which will be stayed if the Lake in the Hills man completes two years of felony probation. As part of the plea deal, two counts of aggravated domestic battery were dismissed.
Bielecki was arrested in August after he attacked his relative as the relative walked past him and down the stairs of the Lake in the Hills home, according to the article. The victim, who suffered a collapsed lung because of the stabbing, ran outside and a passerby called.

Bielecki has also been ordered to undergo drug addiction treatment, medical/mental treatment, alcohol treatment and to pay $1,749 in fines, according to online court records.
