Lake in the Hills Village Administrator Leaving Job
Fred Mullard will be leaving his job as village administrator in March.

LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — Fred Mullard, who has worked for the village of Lake in the Hills for 20 years, will be leaving his job as village administrator next month.
Mullard's final day with the village is March 11. Mullard served in various roles with the village of Lake in the Hills. He was sworn in as village administrator on July 23, 2020.
“Fred’s strong leadership, wise decision making, and breadth of experience will be missed,” said village board president Ray Bogdanowski. “The positive impacts he has made while serving our community for over two decades will endure, and we wish him the best going forward."

Village officials lauded Mullard for navigating the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, while also navigating through significant changes in the leadership team. Bogdanowski said he plans to request the village board’s consent to appoint Shannon Andrews, current assistant village administrator, to the position of village administrator at the March 10 village board meeting.
Andrews has over 15 years of municipal management experience. She holds a master’s degree in business administration and has previously worked with the village of Lakewood and the village of North Barrington.
