Lake in the Hills Village President Charged With Domestic Battery
Paul Mulcahy has been charged in connection with a domestic incident that occurred early Sunday.

Lake in the Hills Village President Paul Mulcahy has been charged with domestic battery after a woman, who he was in a “dating relationship” with, called to report the incident early Sunday.
The domestic incident reportedly happened at Mulcahy’s home and involved a “physical altercation,” according to the Northwest Herald.
Mulcahy, 64, was taken into custody at about 1:42 a.m. on Sunday and was released Monday morning on bond, according to online jail records.

Mulcahy has been charged with domestic battery/cause bodily harm, which is a Class A misdemeanor. He is next expected in court on Nov. 14.
Mulcahy has been the village president since 2013.
