Lake in the Hills Woman Arrested for Dealing Heroin

LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL - A 20-year-old Lake in the Hills woman remained in custody on Monday on several felony drug charges following her arrest last week.

The arrest of Michelle M. Hall, of the 400 block of Starwood Pass in Lake in the Hills, early Thursday came following a monthlong investigation by the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office, the Lake in the Hills Police Department and the Crystal Lake Police Department, according to a news release. During the investigation, more than two grams of heroin was purchased from Hall, police said.

Police also arrested Frank J. Hall, 27, a family member of Michelle Hall, and Megan B. Boettcher, 26, early Thursday after investigators turned up drug paraphernalia and marijuana during a search of Michelle Hall’s home, according to the sheriff’s office news release.

Hall was arrested at her place of employment and remained in custody as of Tuesday afternoon on a $200,000 bail, according to online jail records. She is charged with delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a park, unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bail was set at $1,500 for Frank Hall and Boettcher. They are charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Michelle Hall is expected back in court at 9 a.m. on Tuesday. Frank Hall and Boetcher are expected back in court on May 6.
