Lineup Released For Algonquin's Summer Concert Series

The Algonquin Village Board will vote this week on whether to approve this year's concert lineup.

ALGONQUIN, IL — A summer-time favorite in downtown Algonquin is set to return in the coming months, and the Algonquin Village Board is expected to vote to approve the lineup for this year's summer concert series during a meeting Tuesday.

Most of the concerts will be held weekly in Towne Park, starting in late June and continuing through mid-August, but a July 20 concert will be held in Spella Park as part of the Founders' Day Festival, according to village board documents.

The concerts run from 7 to 8:30 p.m. every week on Thursdays starting on June 22 and continuing through Aug. 10.

  • June 29: Pino Farina Band
  • July 6: Chicago Experience
  • July 13: Classical Blast

  • Aug. 10: LP Vinyl

The Algonquin Village Board is set to meet starting at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the Ganek Municipal Center, 2200 Harnish Drive, Algonquin.
