LITH Announces Safety Town Halloween Details
This year's family friendly Halloween trick-or-treat event will be held on Halloween at the police department's safety education center.
LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — The Lake in the Hills Police Department will be hosting its 19th annual trick-or-treat event from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Halloween.
This family friendly event will take place at the police department’s Safety Town, which is located behind the Irv Floress Safety Education Center, 1109 Crystal Lake Road. Not-too-scary monsters, ghosts, and ghouls along with Lake in the Hills police officers village officials and community volunteers will be at the event to greet trick-or-treaters and hand out candy.
Children can collect sweets and treats and meet with the fun and friendly Halloween creatures that lurk inside the fence of the safety town, according to the news release. This is a free event and it is open to ghosts and ghouls of all ages.
