LITH Blotter: Drug Charges at Gas Station; Football Injury
A look at recent arrest and police reports handled by the Lake in the Hills Police Department.
LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — The Lake in the Hills Police Department responded to the following reports in recent days:
July 24
- The Lake in the Hills Police Department was called to the 800 block of Willow Street in Lake in the Hills at 3:42 p.m. on July 24 for a report of a suspicious person. They arrested Cody W. Limbaugh, 28, of the 8300 block of Acorn Path in Wonder Lake, on a warrant out of Winnebago County for failure to appear on a domestic battery charge. His bail was set at $3,000 and he was later released on bond.
- Police responded to Marlowe Middle School, 9625 Haligus Road, to assist paramedics at 7:41 p.m. on July 24. A person was injured while playing football and transported to Advocate Sherman Hospital.
July 25
- The Lake in the Hills Police Department was called to home in the 200 block of Bridlewood Circle at 8:11 p.m. on July 25 to assist the fire department. A small structure fire damaged the side of a garage, authorities said.
- Authorities arrested Caleb S. Redd, 22, of the 800 block of Stonebridge Lane in Crystal Lake, at 4:00 a.m. on July 25 at Bucky's Mobil, 101 Pyott Road in Lake in the Hills. Redd is charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the McHerny County Jail.
July 26
- Authorities were called to the 5500 block of Chantilly Circle at 1:08 a.m. on July 26 for a report of criminal damage to a vehicle. The report was turned over the investigations unit.
July 27
- Police were called to the 400 block of Harvest Gate at 8:39 a.m. on July 27 for a report of a person who discharged a pellet gun. No one was arrested.
- Officers assisted the fire department in the 0 block of Walnut Drive at 4:20 a.m. on July 27 for a report of an intoxicated male. The person was transported to Northwestern Hospital in Huntley.
- Authorities were called to Jersey Mike's Subs, 273 N. Randall Road, at 5:12 a.m. on July 27 for a two-vehicle accident. No one was injured.
- Lake in the Hills police were called to the 1100 block of Cherry Street at 10:57 a.m. on July 27 for a report of a disorderly conduct between neighbors. No one was arrested.
