The Lake in the Hills Police Department responded to various report between July 2 and July 10.
LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — The Lake in the Hills Police Department responded to the following reports and made various arrests in recent days:
July 2: Authorities arrested Jaclyn M. Pena-Prather, 36, of the 200 block of Wing Park Boulevard in Elgin, following a traffic stop at Lakewood and West Algonquin roads at about 8:04 p.m. on July 2. Pena-Prather was charged with driving with an expired registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and on an in-state warrant. She was turned over to the Elgin Police Department.
July 2: The Lake in the Hills Police Department received a report of an object that was propelled from the road through the store window of the Lottery Mart, 2126 W. Algonquin Road, at 8:04 a.m. July 2.

July 2: Police confiscated one box of firecrackers at about 4 a.m. on July 2 at Miller Road and North Randall Road.
July 3: Roger M. Lawlor, 61, of Lake in the Hills, was arrested and charged with two counts of domestic battery and unlawful restraint for an incident that reportedly happened in the 1100 block of Starwood Pass in Lake in the Hills. Officers were called to the scene at 9:14 a.m. on July 3. Lawlor was taken to the McHenry County Jail.

July 4: One person was taken to Northwestern Huntley Hospital following a three-vehicle crash at Pyott Road and West Algonquin Road. The crash happened at about 2:30 p.m.
July 5: Officers responded to a report of graffiti on two electrical boxes and a retaining wall in the 5900 block of Lucerne Lane, Lake in the Hills. The report was made at 12:43 p.m. on July 5.
July 9: Police responded to the 200 block of Cool Stone Bend, Lake in the Hills, at 5:38 a.m. Catherine E. Bruce, 70, was arrested and charged with two counts of domestic battery. She was turned over to the McHenry County Jail.
July 10: Police received a report of a wallet that was lost while a person was at the Rockin Ribfest at Sunset Park, 5200 Miller Road. The person filed the report with police at 9:15 a.m. on July 10.
July 10: Police received a report of an object that was thrown at a vehicle causing damage at 5:14 p.m. on July 10. The incident happened at Haligus and Miller roads.
July 10: Sebastian Pietrzyk, 25, of the 600 block of Anderson Drive in Lake in the Hills, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court on charges of domestic battery, threatening a public official and criminal damage. He was arrested after authorities responded to a report of a suspicious person at 8:53 a.m. in the 600 block of Anderson Drive. Pietrzyk's bond was set at $40,000. He was turned over to the McHenry County Jail.
July 10: Authorities responded to the 100 block of North Randall to serve a warrant at 11:10 a.m. on July 10. Officers arrested Brandon C. Coyne, 34, of the 300 block of Fox Lane, Walworth, Wisconsin, on a warrant out of Winnebago County for failure to appear on dangerous drugs charges. He was released on a notice to appear.
