LITH Looking for Feedback on Aquatic Offerings

Do you think the east side of Lake in the Hills could benefit from a splash pad? Let us know in the comments section.

The village of Lake in the Hills is looking for feedback from the community on aquatic offerings in LITH.

The Aquatic Amenity Survey is now available online for residents to complete. The survey includes questions on whether residents use the beaches on Woods Creek Lake or the splash pad at Sunset Park.

The survey also asks residents if they would use a splash pad at a location in LITH east of Randall Road.

Parks and Recreation Director Trudy Wakeman told the Northwest Herald that the village is trying to determine if there is a demand for a splash pad on the east side of LITH.

So far, the survey has garnered around 100 responses, Wakeman told the Northwest Herald.

The survey is available on the Lake in the Hills website. Read more about the reasons behind the aquatic survey on the Northwest Herald.
