LITH Police Offer Free Active Shooter Training
The two-hour classes will be held starting in August.
LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — The Lake in the Hills Police Department will again be offering active shooter training this fall. The two-hour courses are designed for those wanting to learn how to prepare, prevent and react during an active shooter event or mass attack in a variety of workplace and social environments, according to the village of Lake in the Hills.
The free classes will be offered monthly from August through November at the Safety Education Center, 1109 Crystal Lake Road. The classes will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 30, 3 to 5 p.m. Sept. 30, 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 28 and 3 to 5 p.m. Nov. 21.
