LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — The Lake in the Hills Police Department made arrests and responded to various reports over the weekend. Here is a look at the most recent reports filed with the Lake in the Hills Police Department.
Forgery
A 33-year-old Chicago man was arrested at Randall and Ackman roads at 7:45 p.m. on July 19 and now faces several charges. Michael D. Porter, of the 8000 block of Harper Drive in Chicago, was charged with two counts of forgery, two counts of unauthorized possession of prescription forms, driving with a revoked license and possession of marijuana - under 10 grams. He was turned over to the McHenry County Jail, according to police reports.

4-Vehicle Crash
Lake in the Hills police responded to a crash at West Algonquin Road and Hilltop Drive at 1:25 p.m. on July 21. Four vehicles were involved in the crash and no one was reportedly injured. Property was damaged in the collision.

Tree Branch Falls On Squad Car
A tree branch fell on a squad car at about 10:11 a.m. on July 21, according to a police report. The squad car was damaged.
Items Recovered
Authorities recovered a blue and white paddle boat in the 70 block of Hilltop Drive at 11 a.m. on July 20. A cell phone was found in the 1300 block of Cunat Court at 3:34 p.m. on July 20.
Tree On Roof
A tree fell on a roof in the 500 block of East Oak Street. The damage was reported at 4:31 a.m. on July 20.
Car Window Shattered
The driver's side car window of a vehicle in the 300 block of Pyott Road was shattered. A report regarding the damage was filed with police at 3:54 a.m. on July 20.
