LITH Village Board To Vote On Senior Housing Facility In New Year

The proposed development at 4570 Princeton Lane calls for three single-story buildings that could each house up to 14 residents.

LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL -- A new senior housing development could be coming to Lake in the Hills. On Monday, the Lake in the Hills Planning and Zoning Commission approved a zoning map amendment, conditional use request, setback and parking space variations and development plan for project petitioners Larry Garifo of Ebbington LITH Property LLC and Anthony Sarillo of Sarillo Development LLC, according to the Northwest Herald.

The proposed development at 4570 Princeton Lane calls for three single-story buildings that could each house up to 14 residents, according to the planning and zoning commission board packet. The developer of the property believes their is a growing need for senior housing facilities in the area.

"This type of development will provide variety diversity in the area. Additionally, it will a good fit with the residential development in the area," according to village documents.

The village board is expected to discuss the project at a meeting in January, according to the news release.
