Local Athletes Named to U.S. Ski Jumping Team
Four local Athletes, who are members of Norge Ski Club in Fox River Grove, have been selected by USA Ski Jumping (USASJ) to represent U.S.
Four local Athletes, who are members of Norge Ski Club in Fox River Grove, have been selected by USA Ski Jumping (USASJ) to represent the U.S. in domestic and International competition for the upcoming 2015 winter season.
The recently named USA athletes are Michael Glasder (Cary IL), Kevin Bickner (Wauconda IL), Casey Larson (Barrington IL) and A.J. Brown (Fox River Grove IL).
USASJ Athletic Director Alan Johnson called the newly comprised team “very impressive”, noting, “We have a super dedicated group of athletes and all our bases are covered from seasoned World Cup athletes to very promising young, developing talent. We are delighted by what’s happening.”

Bickner, Brown and Larson, along with other elite athletes will be competing in the upcoming Junior World Tryouts in Lake Placid on December 29th & 30th for an opportunity to represent the U.S. in Almaty, Kazakhstan in the Nordic Junior World Championships.
