Lost Dog Comes Home After 2 Years
Kody disappeared in September 2015. Thanks to a microchip, he's back home over two years later.

ALGONQUIN, IL — After two years, Kody is finally home. The Siberian Husky went missing in 2015 and was found over 50 miles away in Rockford, according to CBS. Kody's owner, Armand Ravizza, said it's surreal to see his dog again.
“When he got home here, he went right back to that chair like he always had,” Ravizza said, according to CBS. He received a call from an animal shelter in Rockford, Noah's Ark, which had scanned Kody's microchip and discovered he was lost.
Kody got through a fence at Ravizza's home in September 2015 and hadn't been seen since.

CBS reported that somebody saw Kody on the streets of Rockford and brought him to Noah's Ark, who then tracked town Ravizza after scanning the microchip.
“My heart’s full, and I’m happy, and I couldn’t have asked for anything better for Armand,” said Kerry Siversten, of Lost Dogs Illinois, who joined the search efforts. She put flyers in the area, made a Facebook page called "Bring Kody Home," and sent out scent dogs and drones to find Kody.

Not only is Kody home with Ravizza, but now he's home with his sister, a Labrador Retriever named Shadow. CBS reported Kody was healthy overall, but was experiencing some breathing issues and will get a vet check up this week.
