At the May 18, 2021 Regular County Board meeting, Chairman Michael Buehler presented a proposed reapportionment plan in accordance with the statutory requirement to reapportion the County Board districts following each Decennial Census. A public hearing was duly noticed and conducted on the proposed reapportionment plan at a special Committee of the Whole Meeting on May 27, 2021. After receipt of the actual 2020 Decennial Census data in August 2021, the McHenry County Board formally considered Chairman Buehler’s reapportionment plan and with one adjustment, adopted Resolution R-202109-12-186 and formally adopted the reapportionment plan map.
