MICHAEL SINDOWSKI SENTENCED TO NINE YEARS IN THE ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS FOR DELIVERY OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Patrick D. Kenneally, McHenry County State’s Attorney, announces that on December 2, 2021, 51-year-old Michael Sindowski of Crystal Lake, Illinois, pled guilty to Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Heroin), a Class 1 felony, before the Honorable Michael Coppedge.   

On May 7, 2020, Sindowski delivered a bag containing heroin and fentanyl to a male in Crystal Lake, Illinois. The male later overdosed on the substances that Sindowski delivered to him.

The investigation was led by Detective Eitel of the Crystal Lake Police Department and was prosecuted by Kyle Bruett and Matthew Brodersen of the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office.
