FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Patrick D. Kenneally, McHenry County State’s Attorney, announced that Oscar Sanchez Jr., 24, of Harvard, Illinois, was sentenced to 3.5 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for the Offense of Domestic Battery, a Class 4 Felony. The defendant was sentenced on September 23, 2021 by the Honorable McHenry County Judge Coppedge following a plea of guilty. 

This case was investigated by members of the Harvard Police Department. The case was prosecuted by Tyler Mikan and Brette Dunbar of the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office.
