STEVEN D. WEST SENTENCED TO 24 YEARS IN THE ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Patrick D. Kenneally, McHenry County State’s Attorney, announced that Steven D. West, 38, of Prospect Heights, Illinois, was sentenced to 24 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for the Offense of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault, a Class X Felony. The defendant was sentenced on November 1, 2021 by the Honorable McHenry County Judge Coppedge following a plea of guilty.
This case was investigated by members of the Lake in the Hills Police Department. The case was prosecuted by Tyler Mikan of the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office.
