The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it: Community Development. In these unsettled times, we need to support existing projects and infrastructures. Move forward slowly, reassess before further investments

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?: I support our natural landscape and local community. We need to keep our group together and stay focused on community endorsed projects.

If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)?: There has been to too much emphasis placed on huge projects that do not have estimated success. We should move slowly and focus more on community desires and efforts.

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform: Maintain local environmental sanctuaries and bring about community involvement in decisions being made.

If you gain this position, what accomplishment would define your term in office as a success?: People becoming more involved in Village of Algonquin activities and decisions.

Please share with voters a story about wisdom gained from a mistake you made in your life or career: I wish I was focused on a solid career as a young adult. However, my education has been extensive and I have learned through experience as well.

Why should voters trust you?: I have lived in Algonquin for sixteen years and love the people and environment. I support community efforts and want us all to be involved with the decisions being made.

Share a quote that defines your philosophy: Communication is mostly listening.

Explain your attitudes toward fiscal policy, government spending and how taxpayer dollars should be handled by your office (or board)?: In these times, we need to focus on community efforts. Then - jobs, growth, and sound developments, will follow along with community support.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?: Have been involved in the healthcare industry for over twenty years and helped build a company that took over 100% of the independent contactor business in the Chicagoland area.

The best advice ever shared with me was: My father taught me the skills of effective communication.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?: I will stress community involvement and want to rebuild existing infrastructures in the Village of Algonquin. We need to be cautious of projects that are not supported by the community and do not have supportive research.
