Missing Endangered Algonquin Woman, 80, Found Safe: Police

Mary Cisarik was being reunited with her family Friday morning and receiving "necessary medical care," police said.

ALGONQUIN, IL — An 80-year-old Algonquin woman who was reported missing has been found safe, authorities said Friday morning.

Mary Cisarik was last seen at about 8 a.m. Thursday at the corner of Randall Road and Miller Street in a 2005 Pontiac Vibe, according to Silver Search Illinois. At about 9 a.m. Friday, police in Algonquin reported she'd been found and was being reunited with her family.

Police also said she "is receiving necessary medical care."

"We want to sincerely thank our residents, surrounding agencies, and all who shared the alert and remained vigilant," police said in the Friday morning Facebook post. "Your help was instrumental in bringing about a safe resolution."
