ALGONQUIN, IL — A missing Algonquin man has been found safe.

Larry M. Mackay, 76, was first reported missing Monday evening after he was last spotted driving around the Algonquin area, according to a Facebook post by the Lake County Sheriff's Office. Mackay has a history of memory loss, and was considered missing and endangered.

Authorities said they located Larry driving in the area of Route 59 and Miller Road at about 9:15 p.m. Police said the local man is now safe.
